Bronx in da Summer

Hello fam! I am loving the heat of New York. It is a wonderful time to be you nd and in the service of my God :) so many miracles have happened this week. There was an inactive old women who lives across the street. I have been trying to help her come to church since February. Well, she has been twice now! And she called us out of the blue yesterday and said "will you look on your tablet and tell me what i am supposed to read in the book of mormon?" HA! I love it! We also had so many people come to church. It was amazing. We also went to our members homes and taught them about prayer on Sunday. We were doing role plays with them but each of the felt the spirit and thanked us for teaching them about it. Amazing. A sad story but a good lesson on agency: There is an inactive women who came to church and our relief society President told us to go stop by. She is pregnant with 2 little kids and looking for more help. So I thought we should buy fudgcilcles and bring them to her yesterday. It was 90+ . We get to her apartment and she asks who it is. I say "sisters!" She responds through the door "no thank you." Me:" we brought popsicles for your family. Is it okay if we just hand them to you?" Her:" no thank you." Me:" can we leave them on the door handle?" Her:" no. You can keep them." ......... Saddest moment of my life. She turned down pocicles!!! So we did eat some. We also saw some elders walking down the street and gave them some too. Still sad but also showed me that people can choose to have help or not. I love all of you! We went to the botanical garden today and it was beautiful! ♡♡♡ Sister Robison
